Our commitment

Accessibility

Corvus Homes, LLC wants every guest to be able to browse the house, read the guest guide, and book a stay — whatever device, assistive technology, or input method they use.

Conformance target

We build and test The Jabberwocky against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Current status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we are actively remediating. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard and some parts do not yet. We have not commissioned an independent audit, so we describe what we have verified ourselves rather than claiming more than we know.

Known gaps we are working on:

  • Hairline borders on some decorative dividers and card edges sit below the 3:1 non-text contrast ratio. The controls they surround are identified by their icon or label, but we intend to raise them.
  • The booking calendar and the live quote are complex custom widgets. They are keyboard-operable and announce their state, but they have not been tested end-to-end with every screen reader and browser pairing.
  • The map on the homepage is an embedded Google Maps frame. We do not control its interface, so written directions and a plain-text address are provided alongside it.
  • Photography carries descriptive alternative text, but some longer-form descriptions could be richer.

What we have done

  • A skip link to the main content, and landmark regions on every page.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive control.
  • Text and essential interface colours checked against the WCAG contrast formula.
  • Pause controls on everything that moves on its own, and full support for the reduce-motion, reduce-transparency, and increased-contrast system preferences.
  • Accessibility linting in our build, so common regressions fail before they ship.

Service animals

A service animal is a dog individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Service animals are welcome at The Jabberwocky. A service animal is not a pet, so nothing you read anywhere about pets — arranging one ahead, a pet fee — applies to yours.

What that means in practice:

  • No pet fee, deposit, or surcharge. Not ever, not for any reason.
  • No approval and no advance notice. You are welcome to mention your dog when you book, and it is never a condition of your stay.
  • No breed, size, or weight restriction.
  • Your dog is welcome with you anywhere guests are allowed to go.
  • If it is not obvious what your dog does, we may ask you two things and only two things: whether the dog is required because of a disability, and what work or task it has been trained to perform. We will not ask about your disability, ask for documentation, an ID card, or certification, or ask your dog to demonstrate its task.
  • Your dog stays in your care — housebroken, and under your control. In the rare case a dog is out of control and is not brought back under control, or is not housebroken, we may ask that it not stay in the condo; you are still our guest, and we will still look after your stay.
  • You would only be charged for actual damage your dog causes, on exactly the same basis as any other guest is charged for damage.

Travelling with an animal that is not a service dog — an emotional-support, comfort, or therapy animal? Get in touch before you book and we will talk it through with you.

If it would help to know whether any animals live at or regularly visit the building — because you are bringing a working dog, or because of allergies — please ask before you book, and we will tell you what we know.

Either way, Dan is on hello@corvushomes.com and +1.303.578.9560.

Tell us about a barrier

If anything on this site blocks you — a control you cannot reach, text you cannot read, a step in booking you cannot complete — please tell us. Include the page address and what you were trying to do, and we will reply within five business days and tell you either when it is fixed or how we can help you complete what you came to do in the meantime.

If you would rather book by phone or email than use the online calendar, that is always available — call or write and Dan will arrange your stay directly.
